For all children who don't have a bed to sleep in and don't get as much food and help and care as we. For all children who don't have their own quiet corner or toys to play with, who must go away from their home, from father and mother -I'm praying: God protect them! Send someone to their rescue and let them get a home.
A child's prayer from Sweden

Prayer chapels in hospitals. Sage. Remembering the place to turn. A child asleep on the father's shoulders. Paid service. Journalists. Dry dock. Turned-down pages in a well-worn book. Finding no dust balls under the bed. Clean toilets. Garage door openers. Enough hot water left for your morning shower. Juniors who become seniors. Enough light to write. Puzzle solvers. Children eager to start school. The restoration of dignity. Mockery silenced. Things you need being within reach. Light switches.

What about tomorrow?
Jesus said: 'Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.'
Matthew 6:34
Dear Lord,
You know what is best for us.
Help us not to worry about the future.
Because you love us all, you will take care of everything.

Father God,
Thank you for all animals.
You created them with love, just as you created us.
Help us to project them from those who treat them cruelly and to look after them as you look after us.
Amen.

Father God,
Help us in our work each day. Give us concentration so that we may listen, understanding that we may learn, and peaceful minds so that we may remember.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
