Prayer of the Day

Guide us, teach us, and strengthen us, O Lord, we

beseech thee, until we become such as thou would'st

have us to be: pure, gentle, truthful, high-minded

courteous, generous, able, dutiful and useful; for thy

honour and glory.

Prayer of the Day

May the road rise to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

the rains fall soft upon your fields and,

until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Prayer of the Day

Dear Lord,

There are so many lonely people in the city - people we don't always notice among the bustling crowds.

No one seems to care about them.

Lord Jesus, if there is someone we know who is lonely, help us and our families to overcome ourshyness and to make friends.

Amen

Prayer of the Day

Thank you, dear heavenly Father, for making us part of your family.

It is good to know that we belong to you, and to each other as brothers and sisters.

Please teach us to love one another however difficult it may seem, and to care for those who are in your family and live in countries where they have very little to eat and maybe nowhere to live.

Help us to share things with them as we would with our own family.

For Jesus' sake,

Amen
